Omega Ref. 14726 -1 SC steel vintage wristwatch, circa 1959

Omega Ref.14726 c.1961

This update opens with a really lovely looking vintage Omega watch which dates to the early 1960s, but is still heavily influenced by 1950s watch design. This model was available with a variety of different dial layouts of which the present version, with its full Arabic numeral dial, is among the most sought after. The dial retains an excellent lustre and is in great condition with some minor tarnishing around the 4 o’clock numeral. Cased in stainless steel, the edges of the lugs have fine chamfers which retain good definition.

Omega Seamaster Ref.166.067 c.1969

Reference 166.067 is a relatively large vintage model with a case width of 36mm and was advertised within Omega’s International Collection between 1969 and 1973. The stainless steel casing has a bold and solid upper body with a tonneau-shaped design and substantial rounded sides and lugs. This model is powered by the excellent Omega calibre 565 movement with 24 jewels, precision regulation and quick date change facility via a secondary setting to the crown.

Rolex Souvenir Teaspoons from Bucherer of Lucerne

Rolex Souvenir Teaspoons c.1970s/80s

A fancy spoon for sugaring your tea or coffee…or go wild and use one to eat an ice cream. These Rolex branded souvenir spoons were given to customers by the famous luxury watch retailer, Bucherer, in a variety of their shops in cities across Switzerland. The spoons shown here are all from Lucerne. Difficult to date precisely but these examples most likely date to the 1970s or early 1980s.

BillyBelt Bogota woven watch strap

I’m really pleased to have recently found these innovative new watch straps. Made from elastic braid with calf leather terminals, they are both very comfortable to wear and fully adjustable. Straps are easily interchangeable, thanks to integrated lug pins which have a quick release system. A small sliding lever recessed into the leather terminals of the strap allows it to be connected and released from the watch, this means that no tools are required to remove or change BillyBelt straps. The design is based on the traditional woven trouser belt which is BillyBelt’s core product.
