Vintage Lead Toy Crocodiles / Alligators

I’m not entirley sure that no. 4 of this collection of lead creatures should be mixed in with the other 3; it has a stubbier jaw than the other three and a face that looks more like a newt than a crocodile, but . . . in the absence of a concrete identification . . .

The other three are most definitely either crocodiles or alligators.

These lead toys may have been made by Britains or one of the other toy manufacturers. The toys were hollow cast from lead. This making process was halted in 1966 when Britains moved to making plastic toys only.

These pieces therefore pre-date then.

They are all hand painted.
