Description
Chrome/Steel Tudor Royal Ref. 743 lady’s vintage cocktail watch, circa 1955
A lady’s chrome and stainless steel manually wound cocktail watch
In excellent original condition, this watch appears to have been very little used. The silk cord strap is immaculate and is identical in appearance to that shown on catalogue numbers C37 and C38b in the 1954 Rolex catalogue extract shown below. With a stainless steel case back, the upper case, with its fancy form lugs, is made in bright chrome with a combination of satin and polished finishes. Manually wound the watch has a 17 jewel Tudor movement which, like the watch, is in exceptional condition. The watch is accompanied by an H. Samuel jeweller’s vintage presentation case.

Extract from a 1954 Rolex catalogue
