Tudor / Rolex gold vintage wristwatch, sold in 1965
A 9ct yellow gold manually wound centre seconds wristwatch with original guarantee booklet, presentation case and Rolex buckle
In excellent original condition, this Tudor wristwatch is accompanied by a fitted presentation case and Rolex guarantee booklet which details its sale at Christmas, 1965. The 9ct yellow gold case retains excellent definition with clean chamfers to the edges of the lugs and a sharp, chamfered, bezel. The silvered dial retains an excellent lustre with only minor oxidation to the surface.
We have fitted this watch with a Christopher Clarke for Black Bough brown lizard watch strap to which we have added the original Rolex gilt-metal pin buckle. The original grey leather Rolex strap is also present but this has been worn and the leather keeps would need changing.
