Glass Round Hobnail Decanter

The surface pattern on this decanter is not a true hobnail, in my book a hobnail patterm is more closely packed and has a square base rather than a circular one. It does however make for an interesting and elegant surface.

The raised bumps that make up the surface are of differing size; broader at the widest part of the decanter abnd narrower near the top. The neck of the decanter is plain, as is the glass stopper.

Equally interesting to touch and hold, the pattern also refracts the light interestingly.

The glass in the inside of the neck and aroud the stopper has been groud slightly to create a slightly roughened surface where the two parts of the decanter meet.

Also available as a bottle decanter.
