Zinc Garden Cloche – Medium

We have these simple metal cloches in two different size, medium (as here) and large.

If your vegetable patch is prone to young plants being disturbed by cats, pigeons, free-ranging chickens then a cloche such as this one will help protect the plants while they are tender. Once established the cover can be removed and moved to help protect another plant.

Equally the cloche can be used to prevent the item beneath it, such as a strawberry plant) from being stolen by wild birds before you have a chance to pick it yourself. There are myriad options for protecting plants but these wire cloches are easy on the eye where many options are an eyesore.
