Sylvac Ref 2447 Vase

This vase was made by Sylvac at their Longton factory in The Potteries in the 1960s. Sylvac were fond of these mottled glazes at the time. They have a watery, fluid quality to them and the application of these glazes was never entirely consisitent so there are minor visual differences between pieces that are the same shape.

The glazes on this vase range from a light green to a very dark blue at the base. The shape is Sylvac’s pattern reference 2447.

In good condition with no chips or cracks.
