Wristwatches – History of a Century’s Development – Kahlert, Mühe, Brunner

In my opinion the best overview of the history and development of wristwatches. With nearly 2,000 illustrations, unlike many other watch books there is a huge amount of detailed information, historical data and statistics. This book is well-written and highly accessible whether you are new to the world of vintage wristwatches or a seasoned collector. The book does have a price guide by the illustrations which is a good few years out of date but this does not detract from what is otherwise an excellent publication.

The authors, Helmut Kahlert, Richard Muhe and Gisbert Brunner are very well respected in the wristwatch world and have a wealth of experience and knowledge between them.

Fifth Edition, 2005
Hardback with dust jacket
520 pages
Approx. 31cm x 24cm
Approx. 1990 illustrations in colour and black and white
