Sadler Shell Vase

This vase has an opalescent lustre to it that marks it out as being from the twentieth century. As well as the turquoise slightly mottled background colour, the shell form vase also has bands of gilt decoration at the base and across the lip of the vase.

The model name is June which is also printed to the underside – but barely visible.

Sadler Pottery was founded in 1882 and continued until 2000.

In good condition with no chips or cracks.
