Royal Worcester Crown Ware Green Goblet Vase

While Royal Worcester is primarily known for their bone china pieces they did produce some earthenware and named this range Crown Ware.

This goblet form probably dates from the 1970s. The moulded decoration shows apples and grapes so theis goblet could have been intended for use as a drinking vessel – for cider or wine. I think that it may find more use these days as a vase. The moulded relief decoration allows the greenglaze to sit in the lower areas and create a deeper tone compared to the raised parts, you can also see this effect on the knopped stem of the vessel.

In good condition with no chips or cracks.
