Description
Rolex Oysterdate Precision Ref. 6694 steel vintage wristwatch, circa 1982
A stainless steel manually wound centre seconds wristwatch with date and black dial
This is a great example of the Rolex Ref. 6694 with a lovely, black, satin finished dial. Predominantly manufactured with silvered coloured dials, examples of the 6694 with black dials are considerably more scarce. The classic stainless steel Oyster case has a smooth, chamfered bezel and typical screw-down crown and case back. Manually wound, the watch is powered by the Rolex calibre 1225 with 17 jewels.
As part of this watch’s service and overhaul it has been pressure tested for water resistance for depths up to 100 metres.
