Rolex Oyster Precision Ref. 6426 vintage wristwatch, dated 1972
A stainless steel manually wound centre seconds wristwatch with Rolex Oyster bracelet and a Rolex presentation case
This is an excellent example of the classic Oyster Ref. 6426, which has a case diameter of 35mm. The silvered dial has applied indexes with broad batons at the quarter hours which have black strips to their edges, whilst the intervening numerals have central black inserts. The stainless steel Rolex Oyster case has a smooth bezel and the case back is date stamped for the year 1972. Manually wound, the watch is powered by a 17 jewel Rolex calibre and the heavy gauge Rolex Oyster bracelet is a model 78350.
As part of this watch’s service, it has been pressure tested for water-resistance up to 30 metres.
