A stainless steel automatic centre seconds wristwatch with date, Rolex Oyster bracelet and original Rolex numbered insurance document

A classic ‘everyday’ wristwatch the Air-King-Date Ref.5700 was introduced by Rolex in the 1960s. Similar in design to the Ref.5500 Air-King, the 5700 features a date aperture and a slightly larger case with a diameter of 35mm. This watch is fitted with the original riveted link Rolex Oyster bracelet, there is some stretch to the links. The silvered dial retains a good lustre to the surface and there are a couple of very small and minor scuffs to the dial between the centre and 4 o’clock.

This watch is accompanied by a Rolex insurance document dating to July 1969 which is detailed with the serial and reference numbers of this watch. The watch also retains a sales receipt stamped by Rolex Watches of Eire.
