A stainless steel automatic centre seconds wristwatch with date, Rolex bracelet and presentation box

In excellent overall condition, this watch has a superb silvered dial with applied indexes heightened with black inserts. A classic ‘everyday’ wristwatch, the Air-King Ref.5700 was introduced by Rolex in the 1960s. Similar in design to the Ref.5500 Air-King, the 5700 features a date aperture and a slightly larger case. The precision movement is an automatically wound Rolex calibre 1520 with 26 jewels and hack feature; the hack feature allows the seconds hand to be stopped when the crown is pulled out to the hand-setting position, thereby allowing easy synchronisation to a time signal.

This watch is accompanied by a green leather and wood presentation case. As part of this watch’s service and overhaul it has been pressure tested for water-resistance up to 100 metres.
