A 9ct yellow gold manually wound wristwatch

This 9ct gold wristwatch has an attractive silvered dial with gilded Arabic numerals and an engine-turned subsidiary seconds dial. The 9ct gold case has slim but substantial down-turned lugs and a smooth chamfered bezel. Originally sold under the Pinnacle brand name, this watch incorporates a Record calibre 022-18 movement. Founded in Tramelan, Switzerland, in 1903, the Record Watch Company moved its headquarters to Geneva in 1924. In 1961, a majority interest in the Record Watch Company was purchased by Longines. Pinnacle was a watch distributor based in the UK and the firm used a variety of different movements, including Record, in their watches.
