Fizz – Olly Smith
Olly Smith, he off of Saturday Kitchen, Radio 2 et al, has put together this book of drinks recipes that all fizz. The bubbles however come from a variety of sources and the drinks themselves are not all of an alcoholic bent.
Smith’s credentials are good; he certainly knows about wine – NB he was in the Wine Society at the same school as one of the Black Bough founders (not the one writing this description!) – and he has a good clear way of getting his recipes on paper. The bubbles for his drinks come from a variety of sources: champagne, prosecco, tonic, kombucha and more and the ones that are without alcohol are handily labelled booze free so that easily identify them . . . note I said identify, not, avoid.
