Leather Single Watch Pouch made in England

White Gold Patek Philippe Ref. 3555 vintage wristwatch, made in 1971

A fine 18ct white gold manually wound square wristwatch with original strap, white gold buckle and an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives

This stylish Patek Philippe wristwatch is in excellent original condition having been only lightly used. The 18ct white gold case retains superb definition to the angles and edges with no sign of re-polishing. Reference 3555 incorporates Patek Philippe’s superb and slim calibre 175 manually wound movement, which is stamped twice with the seal of Geneva and is beautifully finished with Geneva stripes to the backplate. The watch retains its original Patek Philippe leather strap and 18ct white gold Patek Philippe buckle, and is sold together with the watch’s Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives. With its clean lines and stark silvery grey dial with blackened numerals and hands, the watch has a sharp and refined look.

This wristwatch was originally sold by Guillermin & Mollet whose boutique was on Place Vendôme, Paris. Guillermin & Mollet had a long and close association with Patek Philippe and was one of Patek’s most important French retailers. As the watch was originally sold in France, in addition to the Swiss hallmarks to the inside case back, the centre of the outside case back has French control marks and the retailer’s stamp “G + M” for Guillermin & Mollet. The 18ct white gold Patek Philippe buckle is also stamped for Guillermin & Mollet.
