Gold Patek Philippe Ref. 3484 vintage wristwatch, made in 1964 and sold May 14th, 1965
A very fine 18ct yellow gold manually wound wristwatch with Patek Philippe leather strap and an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives
This elegant Patek Philippe dress watch has a superb silvered dial that is in excellent condition with a wonderful lustre. The dial has slim and smart applied gold indexes that are centrally faceted and match the faceted gold baton hands which have pointed tips. To the dial’s edge, the minute track is pearled, with each increment finely drilled into the surface, each having a perfectly conical shape. The Patek Philippe signature is fired in hard black enamel, the dial having first been engraved for the outline of the letters. Cased in 18ct yellow gold, the watch has a slim profile and the lugs have a gentle flare to the sides; the case retains excellent definition to its angles and edges. The watch is fitted with a leather Patek Philippe crocodile strap and a later associated 18ct yellow gold pin buckle.
