Pair of Prinknash Pottery Vases

Prinknash Pottery was founded in 1942 and continued until 1997 when it was sold to the Welsh Porcelain Company. The pottery was based at Prinknash Abbey and the work was made by the Benedictine monks based there. The original source of the pottery was a seam of clay that was found by the monks on the abbey site.

This pair of small vases is typical of the work that they produced.

A matching pair of vases is always a good thing and these would look great stuffed with blue muscari or forget-me-nots in spring, calendula later in the year, or a single rose in high summer.

In good condition with no chips or cracks. The vases are marked Prinknash to the base.

Height: 10.5cm
