Narcissi in a Grey Pot – Winifred Nicholson
Winifred Nicholson was a prolific painter across her whole life (1893-1981). Many of her paintings feature still lives in front of a window, often with flowers front and centre. This painting features a pot by the studio potter William Staite Murray which Nicholson owned.
Staite Murray was a friend of Nicholson and they exhibited together a number of times, including with the Seven and Five Society in the 1920s and early 1930s.
The cards is blank inside and comes with an accompanying envelope.
