Description
Omega Ref. 162.002 hallmarked 1964 | 9ct gold automatic vintage wristwatch
This smart Omega dress watch was supplied to the UK market and is hallmarked for the year 1964. The silvered dial is in excellent original condition with a rich lustre and applied faceted baton indexes. The model is powered by Omega’s calibre 562 movement which has 24 jewels and precision regulation. Calibre 562 also has provision for semi-quick date adjustment – whilst the date will change each day at midnight, it can be manually advanced when required by moving the hands backwards and forwards between 9pm and 1am. The case has not been re-polished during servicing and there are light scuffs and scratches to the case, the crown has some wear to the Omega emblem.
