Omega de Ville Ref. 146.017 steel vintage chronograph, circa 1970

A stainless steel chronograph wristwatch with register and date

One of Omega’s most attractive vintage dress chronographs, the De Ville Ref.146.017 was introduced to Omega’s international collection in 1970. There’s great detailing to the dial with a cross-hair constant seconds dial that is combined with a square date aperture – placed opposite the date’s usual 3 o’clock position, this ensures that the chronograph’s minute recording dial is kept clear from interference. The 30-minute register itself has attractive accenting beneath each of the 5-minute Arabic numeral indications. Further design details include the blackened hands which match the blackened centre of the applied hours indexes and, at the dial’s edge, the start of the tachymeter scale is indicated via a stylish arrow motif. Cased in stainless steel, the watch is two-part with a solid upper body and separate screw-down case back.

We have fitted the watch is a new Hirsch black strap and a new Omega steel buckle.
