Description
A mid-century design, this watch has particularly attractive dial with applied hour markers that combine Arabic numerals with faceted triangular indexes. The hands are Alpha-shaped and the large engine-turned subsidiary seconds dominates the lower half of the dial. Cased in steel, the bezel is chamfered and there are further subtle chamfers to the outer edges of the lugs. There is a well executed engraving to the outside case back, detailing this watch’s presentation as a retirement gift in 1960. Some surface oxidation spotting is visible to the steel rim of the outside case back.
