Okatsune Snips No. 304
These snips are the lighter relation to the secateurs that we also stock by Okatsune. While they are not up to the woody pruning that the secateurs are built for they are invaluable in their own way for small gardening jobs such as picking fruit and vegetables or for use when cutting and arranging flowers.
As with the secateurs they are made in Japan and have red and white handles which ostensibly make them easy to find when you put them down and then can’t remember where you have left them . . . you will do this, it is the 23rd law of gardening! The red stands out in daytime and the white stands out at dusk/nighttime.
The snips are sharp and the narrow pointed end means that you can get in to cut green stems where secateurs might be cumbersome. They have a rubber strap attachment at the end of the handle to keep the blades closed when not in use.
Come with a spare spring. For heavier garden work you might want to use the Okatsune secateurs.
