Pair of Beeswax Dinner Candles
The smell of these beeswax candles is incredible; slightly honeyish, definitely waxy and a bit sweet without being overpowering, and this is just in their unlit state.
Made by Moorlands Candles in Cumbria they are hand dipped by Ted Thompson and his team. The dipping process results in the tapered shape of the candles where thin layer upon thin layer of beeswax is built up by repeatedly dipping and removing the candle wick into the liquid wax.
The beeswax used for these is largely sourced from African beekeepers.
As well as the dinner candles we also have tall dinner candles, stubbys, stumpies and giant stubbies. All of which are names that remind me of the coffee options offered at the incomparable Fernandez and Wells on Beak Street . . . how I miss thee!
Diameter: standard dinner candle width 3/4″ (apologies for the imperial measurements!)
