Description
Stacking Gel Pens
These gel pens are made by the Japanese stationery firm Midori.
Each pen splits into three sections so that there are effectively three different coloured pens in each stack. You can then move each of the three colours independently so that it is at the nib end of your pen.
The pens are theoretically made to be part of Midori’s ‘Commonplace Book’ system where the idea is that you use these pens do make a coloured dot as part of a mark making system.
While you can use these as intended you can also use the felt tip end on its side to create a line mark of differing widths to sketch or draw with, or to use blocks of colour.
There are 5 different iterations of this pen set with colour groups ranging from bright to pastel.
