Whimsical Bird Garland by Mark Hearld

We have stocked the Mark Hearld for Art Angels garlands since the original versions were first introduced, this whimsical bird version is a completely new design. The other garland designs are puppy parade, pigeon and bantam.

Each garland comprises of 9 hanging die cut pieces which you can string together to form a garland. The pack includes the string for you to do this with and all you need do then is find somewhere to hang them. Each paper component has two holes cut into it through which you thread the twine. Each of the birds is the same shape but is a different colour, all of the pieces are all double sided. Mark’s collage technique for designing these birds is particularly brilliant as it incorporates marbled paper pieces as well as papers that he has painted and then torn as well as some overlaid pencil and paint marks.

The twine colour may vary from the colour shown in the photographs.

Comes in a smart outer card envelope.

Mark Hearld was born in 1974 and studied illustration at Glasgow College of Art followed by an MA in Natural History Illustration at the Royal College of Art. His work encompasses drawing, sculpture, linocuts, screen print, collage and much more.
