Description
Longines Ref. 7135 -11 circa 1958
A stainless steel manually wound vintage wristwatch with two-tone dial
This vintage Longines wristwatch, measuring 35mm in diameter, features an exceptionally characterful dial with a striking two-tone finish and highly unusual “caret”-form minute markers. The applied white metal indexes include flat Arabic numerals at the quarter hours and multi-faceted lozenge markers at the intervening positions. The dial retains an excellent lustre, with a small, perfectly circular black spot just above and to the right of the centre—a subtle imperfection that almost appears intentional.
The stainless steel case is in excellent condition and is attractively proportioned, with elegantly shaped lugs and crisp, well-defined angles and edges. It remains unpolished, bearing light scuffs consistent with careful wear.
