Longines Ref. 7033 invoiced 1959 | steel manual vintage wristwatch

A fabulous example of the Ref. 7033, the stainless steel case of this watch has a sculptural feel and is super crisp with excellent detailing to the lugs, bezel and back. The profile view of the watch shows the sharp detailing of the case to particularly good effect. This watch retains its original Longines winding crown and the dial has a rich lustre with bold applied Arabic and faceted triangular indexes. There is some very light and minor oxidation to the dial’s surface. Manually wound, the Ref. 7033 is powered by Longines’ 17 jewel calibre 12.68Z. The watch is accompanied by its original blue Longines presentation case with silk and velvet lined fitted interior.

The Longines Archives note that this watch was originally invoiced to the watchmaker’s UK agent, Baume & Co., on 22 May 1959 – a copy of the information provided by Longines will accompany the watch.
