John Derian Wrapping Paper & Gift Tags
Each of the twelve papers in this set contains images chosen from printed matter the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The images on the paper include those of climbing roses, a marbled end paper, a collection of sea shells, some pelargonium flowers and some amphibians. There are also matching gift tags to go with each paper.
The papers are held in the set with a perforated strip from which the paper can be torn; the labels are pushed out from the sheet at the back of the set.
Each sheet of paper is folded in 4 when it is in the set – the double page images in the photos of the set therefore show the paper in this state. The papers tear easily from their mount and while ideally giftwrap should be flat when used the creases in these papers are not particularly noticeable when the sheets are unfolded.
John Derian founded his company in 1989, his signature decoupage plates, platters, bowls, paperweights and other designs are made in his studio in New York City.
As well as these papers we also have some additional stationery lines by the John Derian Company and also a small range of jigsaws.
