A stainless steel mid-sized wristwatch with copper coloured dial

This stylish Jaeger-LeCoultre wristwatch has a very attractive copper-coloured dial with raised Arabic numerals and finely engine-turned subsidiary seconds dial. The dial is in attractive original condition with light and even oxidation to the surface. The two-piece steel case has a softer, more rounded design than the more angular Jaeger-LeCoultre dress watches of the 1950s and 1960s.

Jaeger-LeCoultre calibre 480 manually wound jewelled movement, lever escapement, compensation balance, 18,000 BPH; copper coloured dial, raised Arabic numerals, engine-turned subsidiary seconds; steel two-piece case with snap-on back, rounded bezel and gently down-turned lugs; case, dial and movement signed.
