This is a handsome mid-sized wristwatch, which incorporates Jaeger-LeCoultre’s calibre 428 movement which the watchmaker first introduced in 1941. The original dial has an even patination across the surface and the steel case retains clear definition.

Jaeger-LeCoultre calibre 428 manually wound movement, lever escapement, 15 jewels, compensation balance; silvered dial with engine-turned subsidiary seconds, applied Arabic and dot numerals, outer minute track; steel circular case with down-turned lugs, snap-on case back with satin finished centre; case, dial and movement signed.
