An elegant and fine 9ct yellow manually wound circular wristwatch
This is a very stylish dress watch and is hallmarked for the year 1961. The slim 9ct yellow gold case houses LeCoultre’s thin calibre 818, which has a movement height of just 2.94mm and was first introduced in 1959. The satin finished silvered dial has incised polished baton numerals and the maker’s signature is handsomely arranged just above the 3 o’clock marker, whilst the Jaeger-LeCoultre logo is applied below 12 o’clock. This classic wristwatch is in very attractive overall condition.
Jaeger-LeCoultre manually wound calibre 818 movement, lever escapement, 17 jewels, mono-metallic balance, 18,000 BPH, Kif shock absorber; silvered satin finished dial with gold coloured incised numerals, applied Jaeger-LeCoultre logo below 12, signature at 3; slim 9ct yellow gold case with polished bezel and case sides, satin finished screw-down back; case, dial and movement signed.
