A fine 14ct yellow gold manually wound centre seconds wristwatch
This gold IWC wristwatch has a rich and deep golden dial with applied gold faceted baton indexes. The 14ct yellow gold case is in excellent original condition with clean chamfers to the lugs and sharp, chamfered bezel. This model uses the legendary IWC calibre 89, which is greatly favoured by collectors of the brand for its superior quality and finishing – it is also the calibre used by this watchmaker in their famous IWC military Mark XI.
Fitted with its original IWC leather strap, this watch also retains its original IWC pin buckle.
[M] IWC calibre 89 manually wound movement, damascened plates, lever escapement, 17 jewels, mono-metallic compensation balance, 18,000 BPH, Incabloc shock absorber [D] champagne satin finished dial, applied faceted gold indexes with luminescent dots above, luminescent hands (please note that luminescence will have naturally dulled with age), centre seconds, outer black track for seconds/minutes [C] 14ct yellow gold case wtih chamfered bezel, the lugs with inner chamfers, satin finished case back with polished chamfered edge, IWC winding crown [S] case, dial, movement and crown signed [B] with a black leather IWC strap and gold plated IWC pin buckle
