Jute Basket With Handles

This 100% jute basket has a relaxed style about it that means that it can sit comfortably and unobtrusively in all manner of environments.

I would probably steer clear of using it as a laundry basket as it will shed some of its jute fibres as you use it . . . and you may then feel the need to re-wash the clothes that you have just put through the machine (never a desirable outcome!). It is better suited I think to either acting as a log basket or as a general basket for tidying things away into. The two handles mean that it can be easily lifted and carried.

It may not appear so from the photographs but the basket is circular in form – the basket is folded in transit to us and therefore retains that folded shape until it is put to use. The bottom of the basket is constructed from one woven circular piece to which the side is attached.

The sewn in white label that you can see in the photos could be easily snipped out if you find it offensive!
