Double Sided Andy Warhol Jigsaw – 500 pieces
This shaped jigsaw puzzle is based on two of Warhol’s famous soup can works: Coloured Campbell’s Soup Can (1965) and 200 Campbell’s Soup Cans (1962). It is a 500 piece jigsaw and is cunningly double sided – so effectively two jigsaws in one. You can differentiate the pieces by which image you are trying to create as one side has a gloss finish and the other side has a matte finish. The completed puzzle measures 61cm x 45cm.
A far cry from the tepid landscape chocolate box jigsaw puzzle, or the infuriating tin of baked beans puzzle, this one plays to the strong graphic identity of Warhol’s work and requires the puzzler to have a keen eye for different tones of colour. Jigsaws are one of those things that are meditative in their own way and also multi-generational.
The puzzle is made from greyboard that contains 90% recycled paper and the external box is made from 70% recycled paper.
