Falcon Pottery Vase – Constance Spry Style

This Falcon Pottery Vase pays direct reference to some of the pieces made by Fulham Pottery for Constance Spry. Whereas those pieces had, in the main, a dull chalky finish, this one has a satin glaze. The two-handle form and sweeping pattern both echo its more famous inspiration.

Some rust staining to the inside and a firing crack to the underside of the foot which doesn’t show through to the outside of the vase. Otherwise in good condition.
