So You Think You’ve Got Problems – Alex Bellos
Alex Bellos writes a puzzles page for The Guardian and this book is a collection of 150 ingenious puzzles, all selected to reveal the diversity of brainteasers. There are probability problems, wordplay games to wrestle with and games that require you to think about geometry.
Some of the answers and solutions can be derived through ingenuity and some will require very rational thought processes. Interspersed with the puzzles are comments by Bellos on the source of the particular puzzle.
The answers section is more than a section of the book to flick towards when you are most stuck. The answers are given in detail and show you why they are the solution that fits the particular puzzle.
