Description
Dartmouth Pottery Greek Key Pattern Vase
The very faint mark on the underside of this vase seems to suggest that it is their pattern reference 101. From the styling of the piece I think that it dates to the 1960s.
It combines both the greek key pattern around the top border and also vertical ridged lines that are reminiscent of the moonstone wares produced by Wedgwood in the preceding decade.
It is a handsome and versatile form that would offset a selection of coloured blooms and foliage wonderfully.
No chips or cracks.
