Cyma Cymaflex hallmarked 1960 | 9ct gold lady’s manual vintage wristwatch
In excellent overall condition and retaining its original stitched leather strap and Cyma buckle, this is a very attractive vintage lady’s wristwatch. The silvered dial is blemish free and the gold case with its faceted lugs retains the original Cyma winding crown.
Cyma was part of the larger Tavannes Watch Co. which had factories and offices in Switzerland at Tavannes, La Chaux de Fonds, La Joux, Le Locle, Geneva and Neuchâtel. Vintage Cyma advertisements suggest the firm was founded in 1862 under the company name Schwob Frères. Tavannes itself was established in the town of the same name by Henri Sandoz in 1891.
