Description
Pack of 10 Christmas Cards – Gladiator Turkeys
Gladiator Turkeys takes its name from the Latin inscription across the top of the card: Morituri Te Salutant. This was the cry given by gladiators when they were fighting in front of the Emperor; it translates as Those who are about to die salute you. You can see why this might be relevant for the turkey . . . although they don’t really have the option of saluting us.
This pack of 10 Christmas cards are printed in England and come with the appropriate sized envelope. The cards are blank inside.
