Dancing Trees Paper
Dancing Tree is a new design by Cambridge Imprint and has been applied to this paper as well as to a pack of Christmas cards. You could say that the trees are dancing or, alternatively, you could decide that they have just been installed in a rather lop-sided fashion and are slightly off the vertical! This is the situation that we find ourselves in every year when we are trying to wrestle our Christmas tree into position: one of us lying flat on the floor and manipulating bricks, rocks and other weighty objects to try and get the base of the trunk fully supported while the other one tries to assess whether the tree is anything close to perpendicular to the floor.
Dancing Trees is an original Cambridge Imprint design, first published in autumn 2021. It is their first dedicated Christmas paper and has a joyful quality reminiscent of Edward Bawden’s seasonal ephemera for Fortnum and Mason in the 1950s.
Cambridge Imprint paper is printed in England on FSC paper of archiving quality, using vegetable oil-based inks that are kind to the environment. Each sheet is printed in one or two hand-mixed inks on uncoated 90 gsm stock to create a high-quality matte paper with a hand-printed feel to it.
All sheets of paper will be sent rolled.
