Handmade Glass Tealight Holder – Almond Shell

These glass tealight holders are made in India in colours that sit in with the rest of the range of glassware produced by British Colour Standard. They are a really tactile object, being smooth and rounded.

They take a standard size tealight (not supplied) and the flame glows through the amber coloured glass to cast a lovely light. I couldn’t quite work out why this colour is named almond shell until I recalled the colour of unskinned almonds.
