Along Came A Different – Tom McLaughlin
A children’s picture book that is a paean to difference and anti-tribalism. The book starts with the story of reds and yellows, who both think that they are the bees knees, the blues then arrive who also think that they are better than everyone else. These colours decide that they are better keeping themselves separate from each other. This works for a while until more colours arrive and their system joyously falls down and they realise that they can all appreciate each other’s differences.
