Wood & Sons White Jug
There is some discolouration to this jug but rather than distract from the piece I think it brings a certain relaxed charm to it – cottagecore if you will!
The jug was made by Wood & Sons who were founded in 1865 and continued operating until 2005. They were based in Burslem, Staffordshire. The backstamp mark on this jug was first used by the company in 1910 and indicates that it was made between 1910 and 1930.
Would look great as a vase, stuffed full of narcissi, asters or stocks.
Diameter (at base): 10.5cm
