wedgwood black ravenstone campana vase
This example of the Wedgwood Campana vase is the largest version of the shape and bears an indistinct impressed mark to the base of the vase that seems to indicate that it was made at the end of the 1960s. We can at least nail down the month in which it was made as October. The shape is a classic Wedgwood one and this shape vase was made in at least 3 different sizes and in two plain colours: ravenstone and moonstone.
The classical influences on this shape mean that it is still a classic and can sit comfortably in all manner of interiors and looks great with or without flowers. The vase is shown in the gallery image with the midsize vase in moonstone.
This example is in good condition with no chips or cracks. As well as the indistinct impressed mark it also bears the printed Wedgwood of Etruria and Barlaston mark to the underside.
