Vintage Stoneware Cream Jars
These stoneware jars would, at one point, have held cream and would have been supplied by the dairy. As with most industrial stoneware they were made with no great finesse but are all the better for that. The glaze can be a bit roughly applied on some of the pieces and the colouring isn’t consistent.
Cream jars such as these were probably made in the early 20th Century.
The colouring of all of these jars is warm and they make great vessels for a collection of blooms and can work in this way either in isolation or as a group.
