Vintage Rice Jar
This vintage kitchen jar for rice makes a great kitchen receptacle for utensils. It is a simple slightly flared side form which would probably once have had a cork lid to contain the grains of rice. The body of the jar has a ridged pattern on the top ridge RICE is stamped in black.
As well as my suggested use as a depository for spoons, whisks and other kitchen ephemera it could also be used as vase.
In good condition with no chips or cracks.
We also have a jar marked raisins in stock at the moment.
