Vintage Matchbox Label Poster – Three Legged Pot

This vintage poster, or label, is from a collection of matchbox posters that we have recently acquired. I think that it is likely that these were produced to be affixed to the outside of a packing crate or box in order to identify the design of the cover of the contents and that the outer box contained regularly sized (ie. small) versions of the same design. This is, I reckon, a more likely explanation of how these papers were used rather than that they were advertising posters. All of the pieces are printed on lovely thin vintage paper.

We are selling these pieces unframed, but if you want to see what they look like framed we have shown an image of one framed in the listing for this piece. It is shown framed in an off-the-shelf Habitat frame.

In good condition, there might be a small nick or fold to the outer edge.
