Treen Urn Form Vase

If you are not familiar with the term, treen describes a whole gamut of small(ish) objects made from wood.

As a vase it isn’t actually enormously practical as the interior space available for water and flower stems is . . . . somewhat limited. However, a single dahlia stem would look pretty good in it and as a stand alone form it has real charm. The wood has been stained at some point but is a really good dark and glossy colour.
